We were recently commissioned to help Beech Tree Private Equity define its brand identity and produce some printed marketing materials.
Beech Tree Private Equity is a new private equity business formed in 2014 providing transformational capital to growing businesses in the UK. Using their 40+ years of collective experience they strive to turn good businesses into exceptional businesses.
They required style guidelines that blended with the current marketing materials they already had so we looked at their website and logo to develop a new corporate colour scheme. Branding should be consistent across all channels so we created something that would work both digitally and in printed materials. The design reinforces the values of the Beech Tree brand, including trustworthiness, expertise and prosperity. The colour scheme was broken down into 6 categories including background and highlight colours to allow flexibility with future projects. Consistency is a key element of branding which allows customers to familiarise themselves with the business and this leads to trust in the brand.
Beech Tree Private Equity shared creative ideas for a brochure that they wanted help to develop into a print-ready document. We developed these ideas to create a clear, concise layout that worked with the content to connect to the target market. Positioning a business correctly in the market is another vital part of the branding process, and we made sure that the brochure communicated a clear message to Beech Tree's customers. With the artwork complete we had the brochures along with some report covers printed for Beech Tree Private Equity. We proof checked, specified and approved all stages of the printing process, choosing to use a PANTONE spot colour to ensure consistency across the different print work.
